Goodreads Synopsis

Here you can read my review of The Prince: A Wicked Novella #1.

Tink is back!! And Brighton and Caden is here too.
While the last book was a story about Brighton getting to know Caden and them falling in love plus the ongoing war, this book really is just Brighton’s story. Revenge, love and suffering, and it is totally heartbreaking and awesome! Unlike Ivy, who is a top-notch fighter, Brighton is mentally strong and calculating. And this book really highlights that and lets her really use it and grow into it.
My most beloved Tink is present in all his glory, but not for long and enough because he’s moved to Florida not far into the book. And I’m making a conscious decision not to give the book a -10 score for that decision just because I have a brownie fetish. Fingers crossed That he comes back the next book though!!

Brighton is really becoming someone to recon with! And I love that she’s not totally codependent but can get by without someone. Speaking of; Caden is still an overbearing, damaged and sweet alpha-hunk, and me like it! But he really needs to work on his communication skills, and get a knee in the groin from Brighton. He knows what he did, and I’m mentally pushing her to give out some kind of physical punishment.

I could just copy-paste the conclusion from my review of The Prince here;

” The annoying thing is that there was not more of it and that it ended with a cliffhanger that changed the rules of the relationship between Brighton and Caden. The next book can’t come fast enough! But anyhow, this was a 4 star novella!”

Yup, that will do. It’s nice to see a sequel be very different, but just as great as the first one. 4 stars and bring me the next one before I decide to kidnap Jennifer L Armentrout to find out what will happen.
