Goodreads Synopsis

Story:

How do you even review the plot in this book this book!? … … Nope, not even going to try. It was really fun though. NEXT!

World:

Wonderland is indeed a strange and wonderful place, but I still would not like to visit. I think I love it the same way I love sharks. It holds an endless fascination for me and I love learning more. But take me out of my couch and put me face to face with it, and I’d have a heart attack. S C A R Y (!!!)

Characters:

I’m not even going to try writing something coherent about the people deciding in wonderland. So I’ll turn my attentions to the person leading the reader trough the place. And here’s where I dock some points, because Alice is unbearably rude and stuck-up MANY times. Sure, she’s a child and as such lacks any filters, like kids mostly do. But unlike my nephews and friend’s kids, she failed to charm me. If I met this kid IRL I would have left her company as soon as I could.

Ok, I changed my mind. Here’s a note about the other characters; They are very rude too. But I did not have to spend hours with each of them, so they annoyed me less. And therefore I had a good laugh at them annoying Alice. (Yes, I can laugh at other peoples pain.)

Conclusion:

It turns out I really like this book. In a ”I’m to tired to use my mind, so let’s have mindless fun” kind of way.
I can’t give this book a top score, because I don’t understand all of it and really can’t connect with any characters. I know what the story is about and the events that occurs, but it’s so much nonsense that I would never even try to proclaim that I understand the actual point to Alice’s adventures. Nor do I really believe there is one. People has been speculating about Lewis Carroll being on drugs,
Ive seen many grown men invent ridiculous stories to entertain children, and Lewis Carroll just happened to be a master at this. 4 stars because I really enjoyed it and mindless fun is really needed in everyones life.
